We collect your personal information in order to:

  • accurately prepare financial accounts and file tax returns with Inland Revenue on your behalf.
  • provide counsel and advice on personal and business financial matters.
  • conduct customer due diligence in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009
  • assist in the preparation of financial documents and reports as may be required by you, or your financial institutions.


Besides our staff, we may share this information, when ethically and legally necessary, with:

  • Inland Revenue in order to act as your tax agent to file tax returns and conduct communications on your behalf.
  • Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in order to comply with procedural audits and dispute resolution.
  • banks, lenders, or other financial services providers in order to act on your behalf regarding accounts, loan applications, or relevant enquiries.
  • law enforcement agencies in order to comply with reporting requirements of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009, or when required by law or court-order.


Providing some information is optional.


·        If you choose not to provide identification documents as required by Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009, TFS will be unable to provide any type of accounting services.

·        If you choose not to provide your IRD Account Number(s), we'll be unable to act as your tax agent or file any tax returns with Inland Revenue on your behalf.

·        If you choose not to provide access to account transactions or statements from financial institutions, we will be unable to complete your financial accounts and tax returns.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
